Since its launch in 2004, the ground-breaking Treework Environmental Practice Seminar Series has gained a wide following.

The series’ title Innovations in Arboriculture aims to deliver new knowledge inspired by the study and appreciation of trees.  Through introducing progressive thinking and practices, this promises to open up new approaches to engagement with trees and their contribution to resolving environmental degradation and improving landscape resilience and human wellbeing.  The series explores contemporary initiatives and concerns including nature conservation, climate change, public safety, biosecurity, tree and soil health and resilience.

Through enhancing knowledge transfer and opening debate between disciplines, science and arts and professions, the Seminar Series aims to explore novel developments including knowledge not currently communicated in the English language or that is not well-understood in the UK.
